HOW TO QUICKLY PHONE LEGISLATORS USING THE CAPITOL'S PHONE MAIL SYSTEM.

1. Prepare your script as to what you are going to say.

2. Call the first number on your list

- OR -

If calling long distance during normal working hours, call 877-565-3447 and ask for the first legislator on your list by name.

3. Wait for voicemail to come on and then wait for the "beep." (To skip right to the "beep" press 1 when the voicemail picks up.)

4. Leave your message. After completing your message, don't hang up.

5. Press # [pound]

6. Then, press # again to send your message. [pound]

7. Press * T [star, then T]

8. Dial the 4-digit extension of the next delegate on your list followed by # [pound].

9. Start over again at number 2 and repeat until finished.
